Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of HoloInvestor (“the service”), provided by the responsible business. Details of the responsible business are added before sales open. You can reach us at support@holoinvestor.com. By creating an account, you accept the terms.
1. The service
HoloInvestor collects and analyses market data for Pokémon cards: prices, price history, grading ROI, strategies and tracking of your collection. Data comes from third parties and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
We do not sell cards or other collectibles ourselves.
2. Not financial advice
All content is information and tools, not financial, investment or tax advice. Buying and selling collectibles is at your own risk. Historical development is no guarantee of future value.
3. Account
You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy Premium or a Grade Report. You are responsible for keeping your password secret. We may close accounts that misuse the service (automated data extraction, attempts to bypass payment or limits, harassment).
4. Premium subscription and purchases
- Premium is a subscription offered monthly or yearly, with a 3-day free trial. The first charge is on day 4 (day 1 is the day you order). When the trial ends, the price of your plan is charged automatically to the payment method you provided, and the subscription renews every month or every year until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time free of charge: under Account, “Manage subscription”, or by e-mail to support@holoinvestor.com. The cancellation counts from the moment you notify us. If you cancel before the next charge, including during the trial, you are not charged for the coming period. You keep Premium to the end of the period you have paid for, or to the end of the trial. For a yearly plan, see the next point.
- If you cancel a yearly plan, you keep Premium until the end of the month in which you cancel, and you get back the amount for whole months you have not used.
- Grade Report is a one-time purchase tied to your account.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. Prices are in USD and are total prices; no VAT or other charges are added. The amount is charged in USD; your bank may add a currency fee. The amount in your own currency can vary from charge to charge because the exchange rate changes; this is not a price change.
- We may change the price of an ongoing subscription. We will e-mail you at least 30 days before the new price applies. The new price applies from the first renewal after that notice period has ended at the earliest, and never to a period you have already paid for. If the price change is higher than the change in the consumer price index would justify, you can cancel the subscription free of charge, effective from the day the change takes effect. You can in any case cancel the subscription at any time, as described above.
- What you have entered (collections, cards, wishlists and alerts) is not deleted when you cancel. The free limits apply again to what you add afterwards.
- At least every six months we remind you by e-mail that the subscription is running and how to cancel.
- Premium and Grade Report are currently sold only to customers in Norway.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Premium is an ongoing service. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven), and you do not have to give a reason. The period runs from the day you order, even if the trial period is not over. To withdraw, tell us by e-mail to support@holoinvestor.com. You may use the withdrawal form (in Norwegian), but you do not have to; any other clear notice is enough. The period is met if you send your notice before the 14 days have passed. If you withdraw within the period, you get back everything you have paid, and we end the subscription. We refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice, using the same means of payment you used and without any fee. Regardless of this, we give a full refund of the first charge of a subscription if you ask within 14 days after it was taken.
Grade Report has the same right of withdrawal as Premium: 14 days from the day you order, and you withdraw as described above.
We send you a confirmation by e-mail for every purchase. It contains the information about the right of withdrawal and the withdrawal form.
6. Intellectual property
Pokémon is a trademark of Nintendo / Creatures / GAME FREAK / The Pokémon Company. HoloInvestor is not affiliated with them. Card images and product names are used for identification only. Our analyses, texts and software belong to us; you get a personal, non-transferable right of use.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for loss caused by errors in data, downtime or decisions you make based on the service, beyond what follows from mandatory law. Our total liability is limited to what you have paid in the last 12 months. The exclusion and the limitation in this section do not apply to intent or gross negligence on our part or on the part of anyone we are responsible for. Nor does this section limit the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, for example if Premium has a defect.
8. Changes and termination
We may change the terms with 30 days' notice by e-mail to users with an account. You can delete your account at any time under Account.
9. Governing law
Norwegian law applies. If you reside in another country, the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence are not affected where they apply regardless of this choice of law. Disputes are settled before the courts where the consumer resides.
